Josiah H. Brown is associate director of the Yale-New Haven Teachers Institute, a partnership between Yale University and the New Haven Public Schools established
in 1978. The New Haven Institute is a member of the League of Teachers Institutes and is at the core of the Yale National Initiative to strengthen teaching in public schools.
